Company Profile Our History
Seamark Nunn® is now one of the longest established family-run boating businesses in the UK, having been originally started in 1961 by Mike & Rosemary Nunn. The company emerged as a boat building and chandlery business to support the growing boating community on the Suffolk & Essex Coast. From its inception, the company built up a solid reputation for fast racing dinghies in wood and later GRP, and during the late 1960s and 1970s was a favourite builder for the OK Dinghy, Solo and Optimist, the latter of which many were exported to Europe. In addition to the racing dinghy business, Seamark Nunn were dealers for yacht builders Rydgeway Marine in the 1970s & 80s and large numbers of their budget priced Pandora 22ft sailing yacht were sold by us around the East Coast.

Chandlery - Our extensive Chandlery has grown and grown over the past 48 years and now offers a huge range of products for the Dinghy, Yacht and Powerboat enthusiast. In July 2006 we opened our newly refurbished and extended chandlery showroom, now making us the most impressive place to shop for boating equipment in the area!

Outboard Engines - Seamark Nunn has developed and excellent reputation for sales and service of outboards since the early 1980s, and 2007 saw our relationship with E.P. Barrus Ltd. (UK Distributors for Mariner Outboards) reach 30 years. We offer new engines from:-
